Before you get in

  • Change the text and add your own content, including any information that is relevant to share.

You lie back in a private tank filled with about 11 inches of water and 1,100 pounds of Epsom salt, heated to skin temperature. It's so buoyant and so warm that you stop being able to tell where your body ends and the water begins. Cut the light and sound, and your nervous system finally gets a break it's probably been begging for since 2019.

  • This is a paragraph where you can include any information you’d like. It’s an opportunity to tell a story about the company.

Nothing. Towels, a robe, slippers, earplugs, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a comb, ear drying drops, and a hair dryer are all in your suite waiting for you. Basically, show up empty handed and let us handle the rest.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Skip shaving or waxing for at least 12 hours before (salt on fresh skin stings, take our word for it). Hold off on hair dye for a week beforehand. Eat something light an hour or two ahead so you're not starving or stuffed, and ease off caffeine for a few hours if you can. Pop your contacts out before you get in. That's really it. No secret rituals required.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Most people go without a swimsuit. It just gets heavy and salty and pulls your attention away from relaxing. Your suite is completely private, so there's no audience, but wear one if you'd rather.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Doesn't matter here. The water's only about 11 inches deep and so salty you float without doing a thing. Even the world's worst swimmer floats like a champion in there.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Our pods are roomy, about the size of a full-size bed, and the door never locks. Leave it cracked open if you want. Most people who worry about this beforehand find it's a non-issue once they're actually in there. If you're still nervous, call us and we'll talk you off the ledge (figuratively, the pod has no ledge).

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Yep, your head tips back and your ears dip below the surface. We give you earplugs and a neck support so you're not straining, plus a rinse to clear any salt out of your ears afterward. No mermaid experience required.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Very. About 200 gallons of water with 1,100 pounds of Epsom salt dissolved in it, run through a full filtration cycle between every single float. That much salt makes it a genuinely miserable place for anything to grow, and everyone showers first anyway. We test the water constantly, because "probably fine" isn't a standard we work with.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Give it 8 to 10 washes after coloring, until the water runs clear in the shower. Fresh dye can bleed into the solution, and nobody wants a lavender pod. Highlights or bleach that's fully rinsed out are fine. Got a keratin treatment? Check with your stylist first.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Wait until it's fully healed, usually 4 to 6 weeks. Salt water on fresh ink is rough on both your skin and the artwork you just paid good money for.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Many pregnant guests love it, especially the relief on joints and your lower back. It's basically the closest thing to weightless you'll feel until the baby arrives. Just get the okay from your doctor or midwife first, especially in the first trimester, and let us know when you book.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Yes, just use a tampon or cup like you would for swimming. We ask that you skip your heaviest days, and note that contamination fees apply if the solution needs to be replaced.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Check with your doctor first if you have diabetes, open wounds, low blood pressure, epilepsy or a seizure disorder, or kidney disease. Floating can affect each of these in different ways, so a quick conversation with your doctor beats a surprise later.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

Yes, 14. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to stick around on-site during your appointment, no dropping the kids off and hitting the mall.

  • Describe a feature you’d like to share about this company or highlight a particular service it offers.

It's been around since the 1950s, with decades of research behind it on stress, pain, and sleep. Older than the lava lamp, and considerably more useful.

In the Tank

Nope, totally your call. Leave the light on, play soft music, whatever helps you ease in. A lot of first-timers start with a little light and sound and go quieter over time. There's no floating police checking your settings.

Totally normal, especially the first time. Your brain will probably run through your grocery list, an old argument, and a song you haven't heard in ten years, all in the first five minutes. That's fine. You don't need perfect stillness to get something out of it.

60 minutes for $69, or 90 minutes for $89. Either way, tack on about 30 minutes for showering before and after, so plan for 90 to 120 minutes total. Grab a coffee or tea and settle into the common area after, comfy chairs and all, for as long as you want. We won't rush you.

Happens all the time, and it's totally safe. You'll stay floating no matter what, so no risk of a dramatic underwater wake-up. A lot of people say it beats a full night's sleep. If you don't surface when time's up, we'll come knock.

There's a spray bottle of fresh water right in the pod for this. Quick rinse and you're good. Keep a small towel nearby too, just in case, we've all been there.

Totally normal, it's called a hypnic twitch. It just means your body's crossing over into deep relaxation or light sleep, not that something's wrong. Consider it a good sign, not a warning sign.

  • Change the text and add your own content, including any information that is relevant to share.

Nope, the opposite actually. All that salt keeps your skin from pruning, so you come out feeling smoother than when you went in. Basically the opposite of a long bath.

Worth mentioning when you book. Most people find floating calming rather than disorienting since you're not actually going anywhere, but if motion sensitivity is a regular thing for you, let us know so we can talk through it.

After Your Float

Most people describe it as a full exhale: calm, loose, centered. Some feel a little energized, others feel ready to nap on the drive home (please don't nap on the drive home). Both are normal.

Drink some water and take it slow for a bit if you can. Give yourself 15 or 20 quiet minutes before diving back into your day. You'll shower in your suite, and everything you need is already there.

Just crystallized salt that snuck past your earplugs, not a medical emergency. We keep a vinegar and rubbing alcohol rinse in the suite: a little squirt, tilt your head, let it drain. Easy to make at home too, and it makes a great "did you know" fact at parties.

Whatever fits your life. Some people float weekly for stress and sleep, others come once a month for a reset. If you're dealing with chronic pain, anxiety, or sleep trouble, more frequent floats tend to help the most. Ask us and we'll help you find a rhythm that isn't just "whenever I remember."

Definitely. Sauna first, then float, is a favorite combo since your muscles are already warm and loose going in. You'll shower between the two, so it all flows fine. Our favorite order around here is sauna, float, then massage, a full reset from start to finish. We also offer packages for combining services, so ask us about those when you book.
